OpenStudy (donnie1999):

HELP ME PLEASE!!! Simplify the expression -2x^2(4x − 3) I think the answer is -8x^3-6x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you made a sign error

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

what does that mean?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so your first term is right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but the second term you have a negative multiplied by a negative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-2x^2 x -3 = 6x^2, not -6x^2

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

so the answer would be -8x^3+6x^2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah :)
