What are some advancements made in the Women's Rights Movement?

OpenStudy (surana):

Some examples would be something such as gaining the right to vote, take jobs previously exclusive to men and serve in the armed forces.

OpenStudy (surana):

With the right to vote, they gained it in the 1920's, and this was after protests through suffrage, in the jobs previously exclusive to men, there was a lack of manpower in jobs during the Second World War, so they needed someone to fill the gap, and the women were the best candidates for the job, and with the armed forces, they were allowed into secondary roles.
