Quick check? Thank You for helping!
Use the formula v1*v2=|v1||v2|cos theta to find the cosine of the angle between the two vectors (-7,8) and (1,0).
I got cos theta=-7/10.63. Is this correct? Thanks!

I'm getting the same result

Cool, so from there I can take the inverse and get what theta is?
jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
correct

@Notsephirorth
For this kind of calculations, it is best to leave the radical sqrt(113) because it is the exact value.
10.63 is only an approximation to sqrt(113).

@mathmate Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I already submitted the assignment. Thanks though!
