OpenStudy (tacotori):

i really need help on this so i don't get dropped from the class. Your favorite math magazine has recently published an article on their website about whether solving systems of non-linear equations is easier by graphing or algebraically. You decide to write an email to the editor of the math magazine defending your opinion. Your email must be two to four paragraphs in length. You must express your opinion on which method is easiest. Provide at least three pieces of supporting evidence. Provide an additional graph of a system of non-linear equations that supports your viewpoint.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Well, what's your opinion on this? That's what you want to start with, whether solving systems of non-linear equations is easier by graphing or algebraically. Then, just start writing about why, explaining yourself. And then have at least 3 pieces of evidence to show why you think this. Then, make a non-linear graph to support your viewpoint. So, just start with choosing your view on it.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

Then, I would suggest writing a few sentences of why, and then this turns into a writing piece. Just let it flow, and think of a piece of evidence, and then explain it, and then make another paragraph with new evidence. It shouldn't be too hard to find evidence, as there's something that made you have an opinion on what you think.

OpenStudy (horsegirl27):

If you tell me what your opinion is, I can help you make a graph if you need help.
