Cellulose is a long chain of linked sugar  (polysaccharide). It's monomer is glucose, thousands of identical glucose molecules bind together to form a molecule of cellulose. Can you select the correct answer on your own now?

But a doubt has been cropping up in my mind. If you could please resolve this as well. Glucose is easily digested by human beings. But cellulose doesn't, even though cellulose is a polymer of glucose. Could this mean that the process of polymerization drastically changes the chemical properties of glucose?
