PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME 1. How do you measure the distance between a point and a line? 2. Each perpendicular contains a chord. Compare the lengths of the chords. 3. What is the relationship among the lengths of the chords that are equidistant from the center of a circle?

I do not understand the second one. Perpendicular what? For the third one, two chords equidistant from the center are equal.

here, create an equation for a line that is perpendicular to the existing line that goes through the point. by using either the point-slope or slope-intercept form. then... you find the distance between the existing point and the point of intersection between the existing line and the one you created using the distance formula |dw:1434211597312:dw|
