Q?

Find the limit of: \[\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty} (x ^{5}-4x ^{4}-3x+5)\] I'll post my work shortly.

I figured out my mistake. Here is the solution: The above equation = \[\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty} x ^{5}(1-\frac{ 4x ^{4} }{ x^{5} }-\frac{ 3x }{ x ^{5} }+\frac{ 5 }{ x ^{5} })=\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty}x ^{5}(1-\frac{ 4 }{ x }-\frac{ 3 }{ x ^{4} }+\frac{ 5 }{ x ^{5}) }=\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty}x ^{5}(1-0-0+0)=\] \[\lim_{x \rightarrow \infty}x ^{5}(1) = \lim_{x \rightarrow \infty}x ^{5}=+\infty\]
