Hey can you guys help me out with this problem. The question is: An airplane flies due east at 180 mph. The wind current affecting the plane is blowing at 340 degrees at 50 mph. Find the true course and ground speed of the plane. So far I got this: Airplane=<180 cos 90, 180 sin 90> =<0,180> But for some reason the wind is supposed to be <50 cos 110, 50 sin 110> but instead of 110 I have 340. Please help!!
