HELP WITH TWO QUESTIONS!!! I'LL POST PICS
cool, so pic "1" = the inequality... first: whats the y intercept?
@KimberlyAlice where does ur line cross the y axis in the picture...?
The y-intercept is 6
yep, perfect and where does it reflect (y value)?
I'm not sure...
so from left to right, ur line is going down... hits the y axis at 6, is still decreasing, then reflects and starts going back up at what y value does it reflect and change direction?
at 1
perfect again ;)
final question: what's the gradient of the line as it's decreasing?
if it helps: m = y2 -y1/ x2 -x1
-1?
that's a hat trick of correct, props ;)
yay!
so im still kinda learning these inequality equations, but I believe it should looks something like mx + c >or= 1 -1x + 6 >or = 1 ... i think
-1x+6>1 so like this?
no, bugger i just graphed that and its wrong, im so sorry @ganeshie8 help please???
Well, can you help me with the other one?
Actually I think I know the other one
'lil helpl please @IrishBoy123 or @Miracrown ... i wrecked this ???
Maybe I can try opening a new question??
@ganeshie8 @Nnesha
Thanks for your help, I'm going to try to figure out the answer :)
2 lines
1st line equation = -1x + 6
2nd line equation = 1x -4
y>6-x ; y>x-4
sorry again, this was the only system of equations i could find which graphed correctly
