Which equation shows the correct relationship between the measures of the angles of the two triangles? The measure of angle CAB = The measure of angle C prime B prime A prime The measure of angle BCA = The measure of angle A prime B prime C The measure of angle CAB = The measure of angle C prime A prime B prime The measure of angle BCA = The measure of angle C prime A prime B prime

I really prefer to do this visually, but my drawing tool is kind of crapping out.. so I'll just try to explain the best I can. With this problem you can use process of elimination to help, but first, I want to ask you, do you know how to find correlating points?

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Oh, well isn't that nifty, they already have them labeled for you! So, do you understand how A' (or A prime) is just the reflected point A?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Okay, so you see triangle ABC, and A'B'C' - Triangle A'B'C' is just a reflection of ABC across the Y axis, and the labeled points are correlating with each other, meaning A = A' B = B' C = C' When I say that the points correlate with each other, I mean that they are practically the same point, just on another triangle. Think of it like point A' is the twin of point A.

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Now, with that being said, since the points correlate with each other, so do their angles. So, look at your answer choices again and tell me if you can spot any correlating angles.

ok im try, this might take a minute..i be back as soon as i done it

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Okie dokie. Tag me if you need help!

i got C @chaotic_butterflies

OpenStudy (chaotic_butterflies):

Correct! ^_^
