A software designer is mapping the streets for a new racing game. All of the streets are depicted as either perpendicular or parallel lines. The equation of the lane passing through A and B is -7x + 3y = -21.5. What is the equation of the central street PQ? -3x + 4y = 3 -1.5x − 3.5y = -31.5 2x + y = 20 -2.25x + y = -9.75

is there any image of the problem?

OpenStudy (ehsan18):

its pretty simple we know when the slopes of two perpendicular lines are multiplied with each other they come out to be equal to -1 hence the slope of the line PQ is -3/7 also the co-ordinate of the Point P are given...use point-slope form to find the answer point-slope form for a line with point(x',y') and slope m is given as (y-y')=m(x-x')

oh i get it thanks
