The conversation club has 32 members. There are 18 girls in the club. what is the ratio of girls to boys in the simplest form A.7/1 B.9/16 C.7/9 D.9/7 @legendarysadist

So first find the number of boys, and then we'll put up the ratio.

ok but I don't have amount of boys...what do I do...add multiply to find the boys?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

32 members and 18 are girls. So the difference is the number of boys.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So now we put the ratio and simplify. \[\large girls~to~boys \to 18~to~14\] Now you have to simplify
