There should be an option in the notification section of settings that will let you get notifications when someone asks a question in a certain subject. You can check and uncheck it anytime to anyone who might get annoyed. It should be an icon when you go to a subject and you click notifications or uncheck.

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Doesn't that already happen in the chats? The whole "5 Unseen Questions" notification?

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

not talking about unseen questions.. I mean when someone asks a question in a specific subject, you can get a notification when they do ask one

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

This feature would seem to be better for people good in dead subjects than in actiev subjects like Math (:

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Yea because some complain that they get no help b.c its dead but this will help them see the question and help

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

@Preetha

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

@Jaynator495

OpenStudy (sleepyjess):

I already suggested it and people talked about the chat thing

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

already working on this

sammixboo (sammixboo):

Love it ^_^

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Yeah it's been suggested several times, a "follow" button for posts. :)

eclipsedstar (eclipsedstar):

Oh, and an "unfollow" button for those that don't want more notifications.

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Yea

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

EclipsedStar, that's not even what he suggested...

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

lol i was thinking that to but i just said yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can be like twitter where you get notified when someone you follow tweets something. For openstudy, you could turn your notifications on or off to be notified when someone specific asks a question

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Yea kinda but not just for the people you "followed" its just OS users in general.

jaynator495 (jaynator495):

im ALSO working on that to es x'D

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Thanks @Jaynator495
