William Howard Taft led a divided Republican Party in 1912. True or False

OpenStudy (gentorr):

By 1912, the Republican Party was divided between Taft and Roosevelt. The conservative Republicans re-nominated Taft at the party's 1912 national convention. Roosevelt and his supporters then withdrew from the Republican Party and with the help of Jane Addams formed the National Progressive Party (also known as the Bull Moose party). This split helped the Democratic candidate, Woodrow Wilson, win the election.
