PLEASE HELP! GRADE 8 MATH!! Solve: -8x + 11 = 59 Select one: a. x = -6 b. x = 6 c. x = -8.75 d. x = 8.75
Okay, if you're going to keep posting the same kinds of questions, that means you don't understand how to do them. Do you really just want people to give you the answer or do you want to be able to find it yourself?
This is different, ummmm answers would help a lot, thanks. :)
It's not different, it's simple algebra, and this stuff is really important and helpful later on in life. I'm not going to give you the answer, but I want to help you learn how to find it.
The big rule to remember when solving problems like this algebraically is to always do the same thing to both sides. So, looking at -8x + 11 = 59 let's say I want to move that 11 out of the way. What would I need to do to both sides to get rid of it?
@Oak I'm trying to help you -_-
