Gina was using fringe to decorate her backpack. She needed pieces that were 25.2 cm, 29.7 cm, and 18.4 cm. She wanted to make sure she bought enough fringe, but not too much extra. How much fringe should Gina buy? A. 72 cm B. 73 cm C. 74 cm D. 75 cm B?

you can just add the quantities she need and see which answer is closer to that number...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C. 74 because 73.3 is the total of fringe and if you buy 73 you wouldn't have enough. Therefore, the answer is 74 cm.
