Stuck! Please help! "What is the domain and range of the rainbow (parabola f(x) -x^2 + 36) Explain what the domain and range represent. Do all of the values make sense in this situation? Why or why not?" I'm not completely sure what they're asking for? I'm sure the answer is really simple but these questions are very vague to me...

domain is (-infinity,infinity) and range is (-infinity,36). The domain is the range of x values of the function, where as the range is the well range of the y values of the function. in the function you posted, x can be any value. think about it...(x starts at zero and goes across both directions infinitely. where as the y value cannot be higher than 36 as that is the y-int and y decreases as time goes on.
