Solve the following system by graphing. Check your solution. a) 3x + y = 5 -x + 3y = -15
HI!!
hey
does it really say "solve by graphing"?
yes lol
a lousy method, but it is certainly easy using the computer
you can see that they intersect at the point \((3,-4)\) there are lots of simpler ways to do it though
yea i've been trying https://www.desmos.com/calculator but idk how they got (3,-4)
use wolfram see how easy it was?
i think the graph on my worksheet is too small to draw on
what does it look like?
i'll take a picture of it brb one sec
@misty1212 that's what it looks like ^
they did not leave you a lot of room did they?
type them both in to desmos if that is what you want to do, then copy on to your graph
not at all lol
when i sent the desmos link it did not include the graphs, you have to type them in
but they will definitely intersect at \((3,-4)\)
okay that's fine i'll just make do and fill in the points myself
good idea!
desmos has a feature where you can click the line and to tell what the exact point is
but thank you
