OpenStudy (amenah8):

How would you do (-4.7)(0.08), and how would you do 5.1/-0.3?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

(-4.7)(0.08) is just -4.7 times 0.08, and 5.1/-0.3 is just 5.1 divided by -0.3 positive multiplied by negative = negative positive divided by negative = negative

OpenStudy (amenah8):

Thank you. But exactly how would we multiply this with the decimals in different places?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

to multiply 4.7 and -0.08, you can move the decimal place over twice to the right in both numbers so you get 470*8 = 3760, then you move the decimal place over to the left four times to get your final answer 0.3760

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

actually it should be -0.3760, but my previous point still stands

OpenStudy (amenah8):

Thank you.
