Whats the significance of the United States dropping the atomic bombs on Japan. Say some important people who contributed to the bombing and tell the reasoning for the final decision.

Well, the United States dropped bombs on Japan to try and end WWll, which worked and made Japan surrender. Soon Italy did as well, along with additional Axis Powers. Soon only Germany was the one to not surrender, but without other countries on Germany's side, they soon surrendered as well. Dunno the details, but there's a basic explanation for the beginning of your question.

One of important person who contributed was president Roosevelt as he signed off on the Manhattan project that made the bomb and only a select few even knew about the project it is said that the bomb was only to scare the enemy and only to be used if no other option was possible.
