What is the slope-intercept form of the equation of a line that passes through (5, -4) and has a slope of 34?

OpenStudy (amorfide):

y=mx+b is the slope intercept form where m is the slope, b is the intercept on the y axis coordinate standard form (x,y) so your coordinates are (5,-4) substitute your values x=5 y=-4 m=34 work out b then write in form y=mx+b
