Water molecules exhibit a property which enables them to stick to each other. What is this property referred to as?
it is cohesion
Water molecules exhibit a property which enables them to stick to each other called cohesion. Cohesion is the act or state of sticking together tightly. Cohesion is like when the parts are all very similar, like grains of sand sticking to each other.
I learned that it has to do with there molecules inside of the water
This is because of weak hydrogen bonds between the polarized hydrogen and oxygen atoms. Because of the placement of the atoms, the hydrogen atoms are slightly positive and the oxygen atoms are slightly negative. It is because of this polarity that gives water most of its unique properties such as cohesion.
