Can any one tell me what equation i need to solve this or the answer A cat falls from a table of height 1.3 m. What is the impact speed of the cat? A. 5.0 m/s B. 7.5 m/s C. 2.5 m/s D. 25.5 m/s

for any object in free fall, if it falls from rest, you can write the vertical position \(y\), and the vertical velocity \(v\) as: \[y=y_0-\frac{1}{2}gt^2\] \[v=-gt\] to find the impact time and velocity you must set \(y=0\) and solve for \(t\), then use that value of \(t\) to find the velocity at the impact.
