cos(pi/2 - x) = sin x

I am terrible at trig and know nothing about it in a sense. Please help.

Now that I read on it a bit, I see that if I plug in pi/4 for x, I get the equation to be
cos(45) = sin(45) which equal the same thing making it true! (I think)
