OpenStudy (hayleyc24):

Please HELP! The number of fish (f) in a fish tank increases when the number of algae blooms (a) decreases. Write the correct equation for this scenario, and solve for the number of fish when there are 4 algae blooms. Algae Blooms Fish 10 10 25 4 A. f = 1a; f = 4 B. f = .1a; f = .4 C. f = 100 over a; f = 25 D. f = 100 over a; f = 400

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok, so this equation has negative correlation, which means the effect of on side increasing means the decreasing of the other, which means the slope is negativ

OpenStudy (hayleyc24):

well I think this may be a problem of inverse since one of the answers is a flip of the algae and fish just divided by 100. Anwser C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No matter what, if you multiply both numbers, the answer is 100, and if you divide 100/4 you get 25. C. is correct. Good job. :)
