OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

eight fewer than a number is equal to 20

OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

\[x-8\ge20\]

OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

\[8-x \ge20\]

OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

\[x+8\le20\]

OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

\[x-8\le20\]

OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

those are my options to choose from

OpenStudy (butterflydreamer):

let number = x "8 less than a number" just means "x - 8" Then the last part of the sentence which says "8 less than a number is at LEAST 20" means that whatever the x-8 equals to has to equal to 20 OR more. So what do you think??

OpenStudy (princeharryyy):

x−8≥20
