I need help on a Biology question. Why did Mendel use pea plants in his experiment? A) They produce many offspring. B) They have no dominant traits. C) They are all male. D) They are haploid organisms.

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

Well, I know he liked them because they has easily observed traits, meaning he could easily differentiate between two plants, but I don't know the exact answer. If I had to guess, I would cancel out C and B because you need females to reproduce and dominant traits are in every gene, no matter the organism. My best guess is A

thanx you got it right!!!
