What's the solution for that and how did you get that answer? I think you probably do 4 divided 12 or something....

hm, not quite, we want to isolate x first by
1) subtracting 12 from both sides
2) multiplying by 4

So I got 42-12 which equals 3. Then I just multiple that by 4 getting 12 right?
