riangle ABC has been rotated 90° to create triangle DEF. Using the image below, prove that perpendicular lines have opposite and reciprocal slopes. You must show all of your work to receive credit.

Get the slope of EF and the slope of BC. Multiply the 2 together, and if you get -1, then they're perpendicular.

From my calculations, the slope of EF is about -0.75 and the slope of BC is about 1.33...
