It is false? Am I correct?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

the general equation is: \[{\left( {x - a} \right)^2} + {\left( {y - b} \right)^2} = {r^2}\] where: a, and b are the x-coordinate and y-coordinate of the center, whereas r is the radius.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is false briana...cuz the circle has not touche the point(-3,0)

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

in our case we have: \[a = - 3,\quad b = 3,\quad r = 3\]
