Part 1: A magnetic levitation or maglev train rides rails without touching them. Explain how this works using your data. Include the appropriate magnet drawing in your answer. Part 2: Two objects are near a bar magnet. One is about 1 cm away, while the other is 6 cm away. Compare and contrast the magnetic force that affects each object. Use your data to answer the question. How do I do this? I will attach my data!!:D Thanks!

data!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

what do you mean by "lines" in the second column?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the magnetic field lines! sorry i forgot to specify!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I'm not sure how to use the data, but basically gravity pulls the object down while the magnet counter-balances by pushing back up. If the forces are equal, then the object floats or hovers |dw:1434777136457:dw|
