For each verb listed, write its present participle first and write its past participle second. 1. Am 2. Become 3. Begin 4. Buy 5. Catch 6. Chose 7. Come 8. Do 9. Fall 10. Get I don't understand how to do this.
It's asking you the present tense and the past tense of each word. 1. Present: Am Past: Was try number 2
Try saying the word in a sentence. "I am going to become a teacher." future "I am a teacher." present "I was a teacher." past
so the next one is become and became?
became is correct for the past tense but I'd say the proper present tense is becoming. Many present tenses can be made by adding -ing. That wasn't the case with 'am' but is the case with 'become'
Meanwhile with 'chose', choose is the present tense while 'chose' is the past tense. I'm not sure it I'm explaining this well..
am = was become = became begin=began buy=bought catch= caught choose= chose come = came do= did fall = fell get = got
its a long time since i did this stuff in school but i think the present participle usually ends in ' ing'. so for begin it would be beginning 'I am beginning' and past participle for begin would be begun ' I have begun'
ahhh okay.. i think ive done it wrong then
come;- coming and came
Do; doing and done
begin =begining=begun become=becoming=become buy=buying=bought catch=catching=caught choose=choosing=chosen come=coming=come do=doing=done fall=falling=fallen get=getting=got/gotten
