please help medal given !! Solve for x: 4 − (x + 2) < −3(x + 4) x < −7 x > −7 x < −9 x > −9

Mehek (mehek14):

\(4 − (x + 2) < −3(x + 4) \\ 4 − (x + 2) < −3x -12 \\ -x + 2 < -3x -16 \\ -x < -3x -18 \\ 2x < -18 \\ x < -9 \) Since you are dividing by a positive number the inequality sign stays the same
