]Identify the correct slope and y intercept of the equation 6x - 3y = 12. a. slope = 2; y intercept at (0, -4) b. slope = -2; y intercept at (0, 4) c. slope = one half; y intercept at (0, 15) d. slope = one half; y intercept at (0, 9)

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

To find the y-intercept, set x=0 and solve. To get the right slope, get it in slope-intercept form \(y=mx+b \) where m is the slope.

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

It would be much easier just to either find the slope or the y-intercept as each answer choice has unique answers.

@Luigi0210 a?

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

Correct :)

thank you :)
