I think there should be a search bar to avoid the same question getting asked several times (because that does happen here) and when someone needs help on a question they can just search it first just to see if it has already been explained and answered.

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

This was suggested already and i think we have it already Here is the search tool @Abhisar made a while back http://webyab.hostoi.com/search.html

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Or what @mathslover said Open Google. Type this in search bar - "site:openstudy.com ... (write what you are searching for) " Like, if I want to search for questions related to Calculus then I would search for : "site:openstudy.com Calculus"

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

The purpose of OpenStudy is to learn. By seeing an older thread, many people will just scroll to the end, take the final answer and leave. By having them post a question, we engage them in solving their question with hints and guidance and they learn. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jagr2713 yeah I've done that before

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

Well thats all for right now.. But like @TheSmartOne what would you learn if you just search up the answer?

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Looks like the Search Tool is not working any more. Use this https://goo.gl/zYnQIE

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

There is another one on: http://openstudytutorials.weebly.com/

OpenStudy (abhisar):

@TheSmartOne , somehow it's also not working, I'll have to take a look.

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

It works for me: http://prntscr.com/7ja046

jagr2713 (jagr2713):

works for me also

OpenStudy (abhisar):

That's singular o_O

TheSmartOne (thesmartone):

Guess like the search engine is too much to handle for Thor ;p
