OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

I was trying to figure out 100^100, (Yep boredom) Can someone check to see if my logic can work for my solution?

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

Since there are 2 zeroes in 100' then you multiply 100 by 2 and yor answer has 200 zeroes after the one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well seeing that the scientific notation is 1 x 10^200 I would agree :)

http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=100%5E100

OpenStudy (welshfella):

yes its correct 100^2 has 2* 2 = 4 zeros 100^3 has 2*3 = 6 zeroes etc

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

Xd, I ignored how to do scientific notation in school But understood it somewhat So how does 1 x 10^200 relate to that

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

Cool :)

OpenStudy (welshfella):

the 200 in scientific notation means theres 200 zeroes after the 1

OpenStudy (aaliyahfairgood):

Thanks
