I think I have the answer but I'm not sure. Please help! I'll give a medal or whatever else. Part A: What is the approximate y-intercept of the line of best fit and what does it represent? (5 points) Part B: Write the equation for the line of best fit in slope-intercept form and use it to predict the number of games that could be won after 13 months of practice. (5 points) picture here: http://prntscr.com/7jf9c6
For part A I have the y-intercept as 1 and it represents the number of games won. I just need help with part B :)
Y-intercept when x =0
The number of games won without practicing
The line of best fit Find the slope
For any (x y) slope-intercept form Y = m x + b where m is the slope and b = y-intercept
Part. C. Find y when x = 13
I'm having a hard time finding the slope because of where the points lie. The rise/run method isn't really working for me here. Can you help explain it? I can't figure it out
@triciaal I think the slope is 1? Because it's 4 over 4 which simplifies to 1. Would you agree or disagree?
Anyone still here?
Responding elsewhere
No worries. Take your time, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone haha
Let me get to the PC so I can use the draw. Easier for me than this Ipad
That's fine! Thank you
finally here
