I'm working on problem set 3 and they reference equations that I'm supposed to prove by number (2A -9*). After poring through the online notes I can't find any reference to numbered equations. Can anyone help with this?

They are referring to the "notes" posted at http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/mathematics/18-01-single-variable-calculus-fall-2006/readings/course-reader/ Apparently, when they worked on 18.01SC (18.01 but with additional material to aid in self-study), they left out this info. The particular section you want is section A, "Approximation"
