Dear Michael,

I’ve been here in Cheyenne, Wyoming, visiting my friend Tom. He lives on his parents’ ranch. From their ranch house you can see the Grand Tetons mountain range. The Grand Tetons are very tall. They are beautiful. Fishing is my favorite hobby. Tomorrow we want to go hiking. I’m planning on bringing the backpack you got me for my birthday. As you can tell, Wyoming is a lot of fun.

Let’s go to the fall festival when I get home. You and I always have fun there. I think I still have candy from last year’s festival. We sure had a great time. I saw a cool pirate costume at the party store. I think I will buy it and wear it to the festival. Maybe I will win the costume contest. Will you wear your monster costume again? That costume always terrifies me! Well, I have to go for now. I will knock on your door in October.
