Education for All Recently, a flood of illegal immigrants have been infiltrating California. Thousands of these illegal immigrants are children, and they attend many of California's public schools. Should our tax money pay for the education of these children, whose parents do not pay taxes in our country? Today, this is a question facing many members of Congress who are struggling to decide whether to kick them out of school. Why should these children profit from an educational system that their families do not support? Why should they have a chance to prosper in this country when thousands of others who have applied for residency in this country patiently wait (often for years) or have received a rejection? Yet, why should the children suffer for the faults of their parents? Why should they be denied a chance to learn, especially when this country's foundation lies on the hard work and contributions of immigrants? Why should many of them be denied the free lunch (and often breakfast) that the school provides for them, especially when school is the only place many of them eat? Next
