OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wolves are predators of deer. What is most likely to happen to the deer population if the wolf population increased? stay the same increase decrease become extinct

OpenStudy (shirley27):

If the wolf population increased, there would be more predators out to hunt the deer. Thus more deer would be killed in order to sustain the increased population of wolves.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your answer is going to be it decreases but if there was a sharp incline in the amount of wolves while there is a balanced population while the deer population stayed the same then there would also be a rapid decline in dear...to be an extinction you would need more information present in the question so the answer is decrease
