The measures of the angles of a triangle are 1:2:3. What is the measure of each angle?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

So this is what I did. Since I know that it is a ratio, the numbers need to equivalent to 1:2:3. Therefore, I set up an equation: x + 2x + 3x = 180 6x=180 x=30 1:2:3 => 1(30) , 2(30) , 3(30 => 30:60:90 The sum of the angles of a triangle is 180 so we can check this: 30 + 60 + 90 = 180 degrees

Looks good to me :)

Thank you :)
