how to solve this equation 7x-4y=-10 4y=x-2

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

since 4y=x-2 replace it int the first equation 7x-(x-2)=-10 and then solve a normal one variable equation

OpenStudy (xapproachesinfinity):

once you found x go back to one of the equations and replace x with the number you found then solve for y and that's it!!
