The diameter of circle C is 18 cm. Chord AD is the same length as a radius. What are the measures of angles BDA and DBA

OpenStudy (shirley27):

Do you have the diagram?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry hold up

OpenStudy (misssunshinexxoxo):

Ok what is the corresponding angles of the circle?

OpenStudy (misssunshinexxoxo):

You don't necessarily need a diagram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i dont really know:(

OpenStudy (misssunshinexxoxo):

Angle DAB is 90; BDA and DBA must add up to 90 as well to make 180. to find BDA: AD=the radius CD and AC are the radius, therefore AD=CD=AC, making it an equilateral triangle. The angle is 60. to find DBA: 180-90-60= 30.

Somestimes the questions don't provide a diagram and need to rely on the information at hand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow thank you very much

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you explain it so well :):)

OpenStudy (misssunshinexxoxo):

Cheers; do you understand the concept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah the way you explain it i did got it thank you again
