Carlos and his friends are thinking about taking a cab home. The cost for the cab ride is $1.50 per mile. Write a formula that will help Carlos determine how much each friend will have to pay for the cab ride Let’s let X= number of miles traveled Y= number of friends in the cab Z= cost for each friend

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1.50x+y=z

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

it was wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you would think because it is 1.50 per mile. and x would be the number of miles traveled so 1.50+x+y=z

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so i was right?
