A marble is flicked horizontally off a desk with a speed of 3.1 m/s. If it takes the marble 0.8 seconds to hit the ground, how far from the desk does it land?

Since the horizontal velocity of the marble is constant (there is no horizontal component for the acceleration), the horizontal distance achieved by the marble can be found using: \(d=v_0t\) you just need to plug in the initial velocity and the time given in the problem
