The slope of the line passing through the points (-1, 5) and (1, 6) is no slope 1/2 5/4

Hi, welcome to OpenStudy! Do you know the slope formula? @Sydney77

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no

@AbdullahM

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

ok, then.

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

Slope formula is \(\sf\Large Slope=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\) where the two points are: \(\sf (x_1,y_1)\) and \(\sf (x_2,y_2)\)

OpenStudy (abdullahm):

So, can you find out what the slope is now by plugging in the points value into the formula?
