Can someone explain and help me with this. Will Fan and medal. Find the first 5 terms of the sequence: an = 12(n – 2). Enter your answer separated by commas; example: 1, -5, 10, -15, 20.

Mehek (mehek14):

for the first term, replace n with 1

Mehek (mehek14):

\(12(1-2)\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And then you would just solve the rest? Would you always put a 1 where the N is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how to do the rest but just setting it up confuses me..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I also got -12

Mehek (mehek14):

for the second term, you would put 2 for n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh, I get it now!

Mehek (mehek14):

just plug in 1, 2, 3, 4 ,5 for n

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you, so much!

Mehek (mehek14):
