In one week a gas station sells 680 gallons of gas. On average, how many quarts did they sell each day during that week? Round your answer to the nearest hundredth. Hint: there are 4 quarts in a gallon. I am stuck. And this is fora quiz correction. the answer to the problem is 388.57 quarts a day. I just don't know how they got it. I keep getting 97.14, which is what I originally chose.

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

1 gallon of gas = 4 quarts 680 gallons of gas = 4*680 quarts = 2720 quarts 2720 quarts/7 days = 388.57 quarts/day

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

important: make sure to read the question carefully the question asks "how many quarts did they sell", which means that you need to convert gallons to quarts first
