Give me some scientific theories regarding the origin of life on the early Earth?

This is what I have the most trouble on.

minerals from meteors could have surfaced to top of the soil/water, and created a type of microscopic bacteria (single celled) which fed off of the raw nutrients itself

That is not really an accepted hypothesis. There are no scientific theories for the origin of life. I stress this because scientific theory is not the same definition that most people use when they term something a "theory". What most people really mean is what scientists use the word "hypothesis" for.

And, that meteor one is crap. Most of the hypothesis, or all of them, revolve around the deep sea vents.
